    Rain running into vents

Hi John No, it's all sealed up. My only access to the vent is head-on. I was considering one of these (perhaps hacksawed to size): https://www.screwfix.com/p/map-vent-fixed-louvre-vent-with-flyscreen-white-229-x-152mm/4695d

    Rain running into vents

I am in urgent need for some advice. The way my shed roof has been constructed I have vents above the insulation (warm roof I think it's called). The main issue was working within the council height restrictions where I live, so I had to place the vents in the plastic (fascia? soffit?) that...

No, just a shed. Although I will be spending a lot of time in it to do woodworking

    Gap Between Plyboards

Thanks for the reply Opps. I'm starting to think it's not really a bother. I was hoping for a flush no gap seam everywhere and I have that for the most part. I think I'm just going to leave it as it is. It's just a shed after all. It's certainly nothing that needs doing.

    Gap Between Plyboards

Hope this is in the right forum. What's the best way to fill gaps between plyboards (other than saw straight in the first place)? They're on the ceiling and here and there they are about 1mm to 2mm wide. Nothing major but there's aluminium foil above them and it looks a bit unsightly...

    Vertical Cracking in Wall

This one is paintable, flexible, and polymer based. www.sealantsonline.co.uk/ProductGrp/Geocel-201-polymer-paintable-mastic-sealant Will that work? Not sure what it means when it says "One part polymer" though.

    Vertical Cracking in Wall

That's a relief! Thanks Woody, I appreciate the advice. Yes, I'll be painting it (soon) so I'll get on to it. At the risk of being a pain, can you recommend a good product for filling in please? Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply Woody. Is it serious? Should I be worried?

    Vertical Cracking in Wall

I have recently built a block shed (single skin) with a timber roof. The walls were completed in October 2017. Today I found a crack in one of the walls. It starts at the top, and it goes halfway down. It's cracked on the inside as well as the outside. The floor around that area looks solid...

    Potential Issue with Condensation

Can you recommend a good foam filler? I have a few gaps here and there and don't want to just, tape over them.

    Potential Issue with Condensation

I know I cover the joins between each insulation panel but do I also run the tape over the area where the panels touch the wooden joists?

    Potential Issue with Condensation

I'm in the exact same boat, I want Wickes, but Toolstation is much closer to me. I also prefer the 75mm width. Thank you for the information.

    Potential Issue with Condensation

You're not wrong. I think the stuff you bought might have been the 'Diall' brand, and by all accounts, it's terrible. Thanks for the reply.

    Potential Issue with Condensation

I'm looking for some good aluminium/foil tape to cover where my Kingspan roof insulation panels meet at the joins but I'm not sure which to buy. Will this do the job or is there something better I should go for? www.toolstation.com/ybs-aluminium-foil-tape/p16309
