I have an electrician booked in to connect a 6mm SWA cable from a dedicated 32amp RCD breaker in the house fuse board. The other end of the SWA is going to be connected into a rotary isolator for the hot tub. Can a new weatherproof double socket be spurred from the rotary isolator?

Thanks joists are screwed in to the hanger. I Used twist nails to fit hanger to timber face

Beginning the process of building garden room/office. I have set out the floor timber frame and have laid the joists across using hangers on each end. I noticed that some of the joists sit slightly high in the hanger and wondered if it’s going to be an issue when I come to lay the osb flooring...

should I just drain it down and replace them?

Hi im in the process of replacing my bathroom toilet. The new toilet won’t cover where the old one went so there is a gap around it. The original floor was screeded and had vinyl fitted. it’s to big a gap to caulk. Any other way to cover the gap?

Sorry will explain it’s two feeds. One for hot tub and other for garden building. Plan is to run conduit along the fence/gravel board. I also have two coaxial cables and a network cable going up there too which will be in another conduit. Distribution board is in integral garage at the front...

A couple of bends. although i just been informed regs doesn’t allow more than 2 x 2.5mm in a single conduit?

Anyone know if 2 x 6mm T&E cable fits in a 25mm conduit ?
