    So your saying attack the blockage from a manhole push the rods towards the drain from the manhole? I can't even find the hole in the blocked drain. I'll get a rod from b and q.

    How good are these? The thing is in this particular drain when I prodded around I couldn't feel any hole or pipe or anything. In the video there's a nice visible pipe to stick hose down then push it along.

    The plastic grill is there. I couldn't remove it fully so was putting spoon down hole where downpipe went. Got out smallish of white stuff. It stank. Is it a job for her £250 hose pipe boys?

    What comes off chicken or pork r whatever in a roast tray is fat, isn't? Grilled sausages etc What about oil in frying pan after having fried eggs can that be just mixed with washing up liquid?

    I heard they're delicate tiles so not to use a hoe to scrape it but could I brush some off with a brush on a long pole safely without damaging anything. Just want to get rid of some of the moss before clean gutters

    . Will do. Thxs Out of interest, are all oils and cooking fats from roasts or fry ups left on baking trays not supposed to be poured down, kitchen sink hole? I try not to myself and pour mine in garden.

    There will be a lot of weight on the top. Do you think some ply laid flat which it sits on, when that rots replace it with new piece?

    Previously there was some batten on the top underside screwed and glued to the wall ply. Is there a better way?

    These will go in my van over wheel arches and support some heavy shelves but my floors are wet so needed to waterproof them. Used yacht varnish then ran out so continued with exterior varnish, dabbing into ends. Did one coat on top and two coats on bottom 6 inches and ends.

    They're not panels. It's featheredge or whatever they're called attached to rails. The bit of wood I guess bridges gap between post and gravel board I think. So you don't think drilling out more space ad inserting one of those concrete support post things

    This post sunk in wall has come loose. Was told as post has rotted probably its best to put a repair post in by digging out part of wall. Don't want to damage wall though

    Cleaning decking?

    I'll get decking cleaner next time. It's cleaner and moss gone but not back to original colour. Top photo is before and bottom after.
