Waterproofing this ply

These will go in my van over wheel arches and support some heavy shelves but my floors are wet so needed to waterproof them. Used yacht varnish then ran out so continued with exterior varnish, dabbing into ends. Did one coat on top and two coats on bottom 6 inches and ends.

Can't you lift them off the van floor slightly? Have them bolted in place, but raised off the floor by something which can sustain sitting in water?

There will be a lot of weight on the top. Do you think some ply laid flat which it sits on, when that rots replace it with new piece?

Or buy some plastic shims/spacers to keep it off the floor and use some CT1 (or other ms polymer caulk) to help it stay watertight.
