The brickwork follows the roof, it’s not just an overhanging roof. Problem is the brickwork is already done and we have realised this issue after. Either way we might have a solution of using a continuous dry verge combined with felt to use along the angled part. Will post back here with pictures.
The roof and wall joining the short roof above the garage door and the long roof next to the garage door are connected at an angle. I have drawn a red line showing the rough angle.
Adjustable gutter unions only allow you to adjust the angle. I would need an adjustment for pitch too, as the straight run needs to join onto the 23 degree pitch run.
I have a 23 degree pitch roof. One side of the roof is 3m long and the other side is 4.5m long. These join together at an angle. Is there any guttering I can use on the angled part? The straight runs of 3m and 4.5m can of course use normal guttering, but the angled part is also pitched and I...
The picture looks that way but all other houses on the road haven’t extended up the pavement. Can I ask the council for advice on this or will they just say to apply for planning permission and go through that channel?
Hi, I’d like to extend my garage up to the red line in the images below (including adding a pitched roof to the garage, similar to the neighbour in the picture). Would this be possible with planning permission or is there some rule around garage entrances and road distance which would cause an...
I’m doing a 4m single story half double extension (full single story extension and a half width extension upstairs). I want to do a loft conversion at the same time with a dormer. Will the dormer fall within permitted development or will I need separate planning permission for it? I’ll be...
