The bottom of my lawn is almost always soggy and cannot be walked on. I would dig and lay a drain if there was somewhere to drain it to but there are no drains or manholes in the garden that might be used. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible solution to the problem?

I usually get a professional to do my major decorating jobs, but have the impression that the trade paints, particularly washable emulsions, are not as good as the major branded paints from the DIY stores. Can anyone comment on this? Is it better to buy the paint myself? :?
