I am shortly moving into a new house with a double garage, actually two singles with a dividing wall. I would like to paint the walls white before I get in and clutter things up. The walls are of part block and part brick construction.

I would welcome any advice on paint, application tools and method. I have little experience of painting large surfaces and none of painting brickwork.

If you are talking grey concrete blocks anything will do really..id personally go for masonry paint as its an outside/inside area

Thin the first coat down by about 25% and use a brush and roller, get a dcent quality one a rodo lifetimer should be fine.
