fitted my first Hot water cylinder today,had a couple of leaks,i suspect some of the gaskets was missing,its been a long time since i did one at college,so can not remember where gaskets are used first leak was on the connection where its sits on the tank on the pipe that feeds the hot water...

on a baxi boiler,on the water feed to the boiler is a pushfit Magnetic Scale Inhibitor,this is leaking on both ends of the pushfit connectors, the plan is to remove it and add some copperpipe in its place,customer does not want another,im guessing the previous fitters have not pushed the pipe...

this is the problem i have,after putting up corner beads,when it comes to plastering,to get it nice and square i find i have to use quite alot to build it up to create a sqare corner,i use a square to check it. the problem being is that i tend to cover quite alot of the window...
