to bond or not is the question?

been wondering about this one,installed a electric shower,via the main water supply feed to the tank in attic,used a couple of speedfit connections,to make the join to the main feed,


what i want to know is,does the copper pipe need still earth bonding starps to bridge the join of the sppedfit connections,as the shower is earthed anyway,but i guess the pipe should be protected as well

i always use staps anyway,that way never no comebacks

,just not sure on this situation,if im wasting money and time on using them,

Search for bonding etc in the Electrics UK. This has been debated to death and back. Several times!!
