yup but strangley enough ,and she says this happened before i did anything ,unlike my ordinary rads when the air stops coming out you dont get any water coming through .Never done aything with micro bore systems so assumes that was the norm

Hi ,joking apart this is a question for northern plumbers ,none of those fancy London rates :lol: How much will it cost ,ball park to have a standard boiler changed to a condensor one (18kw) both labour only and labour and materials . Its located in a garage so no real access problems...

Hi Can any body post a wiring drawing to show how to control a light in the middle of a passage way by using infra reds at either end .Light is currently switched from kitchen and would like to maintain that arrangement too

Can somebody give me an idea of what the myriad of liquid additives do and if theres a one that does it all ,ie cleans ,stops boiler noise etc. Also how they are put into the system (pumped and gravity fed is I believe the term for what I have got ie it has a pump and a header tank in the loft)?

Posting this on behalf of a lad I work with so sorry if its a bit vague . He was on the internet and all was fine ,had a couple of different windows open when one suddenly locked up and he got the useual "windows has found an error and needs to close ,do you wish to report the error" etc ,etc...

Ta ,I thought something like the would suffice but was worried about smells but assume the u bend under the sink would stop that ,out of interest how come you dont get smells coming up the straight waste that is often provided for the likes of washing machines and dishwashers?

I want to put a sink in the utility room .At the mo there is a waste pipe that the washer goes to,jusst the open ended type where the flexible waste from the washer goes in . What do I need to use that as a waste for a possible sink and still service the washer waste and indeed is this allowed...
