    More decking woes...

    I would lay some boards loose on your framwork and have 2 or 3 people stand on it if it does'nt move fine but if it does just to give it some extra support just put some broken slab/brick/block down and stand a short support on it and screw to the framework. :wink:

    tanalised decking

    I've used stain on decking lot's of times and i've never heard of it peeling before,and i use tanalised timber. Why not get a piece of decking put stain on one end and oil on the other and place in full sun to see what happens! :wink:

    HELP - fixing through tile and plasterboard

    Hi! Mike what you need is a cavity wall plug/bought any d.i.y. shed. Just make sure you push the plug right through the tile so it is flush with the plasterboard, or when you tighten the screw you'll crack the tile.Also before drilling the tile with the proper tile bit stick some masking tape on...

    I would have thought anything by Cuprinol would be o.k. I would'nt use oil, I'd use stain. Whatever you use it won't last forever so it needs applying at least once a year,twice would be better! :wink:
