    There are earth wires runing into the switches but on the instructions it tells you to then run another earth from the earth connection to the box behind. Does this only apply if you have a metal back-box

    I have replaced my plastic light switches and plug sockets with metal one's and have found that the face needs earthing. But the box in the wall is plastic and has no earth point to join the earth wire to from the front plat. What do I do?

    I have two ceiling roses in my lounge and I would like to replace then with six mains voltage downlights. How would I go about doing this? I have access to the roof space and both junction box's. Do I need to have a junction box for each light or can I have one and daisy chain the rest together...
