    Thanks Andee. I have done the tap test and can't quite work out if there is a baton or not. Batons are usually set every 12-16 inches but not even the drill test has come up with anything. :(

    Thanks Mike. As far as I can see, it is a wall that is made up of 3 layers of plasterboard There is a small channel dug out for one 3 core cable to feed a double socket, coming from the ceiling. I have made several test holes to find a baton, but unsuccessful.

    Hello. I am looking to install several kitchen wall cupboards. As far as I can make out the wall is made up of 3 sheets of plasterboard only with no cavity or batons. The cupboards may contain a decent weight, so the fixings need to be strong and secure. What is the best fixings to use...

    Again, thanks Cider. ;) I have watched quite a few bearing videos and now know well how to do it. It's simply my inner bearing and seal really do not want to come out. I have even poured boiling water over it, as one suggested. And still, the little sh*te, simply will not budge! :mad:

    Thanks for your reply. ;) I have managed to get a bearing set and also managed to get the outer bearing out. But for the life of me I can't get the inner bearing and rubber seal out! HELP!!! o_O

    Okay...so around a tenner may not be much to some but it when added to the new shower and a Sparky to visit it all amounts I suppose. Thank you for all your information and insights. It all helps towards us making a final decision. BTW...we have gone for the Triton Cara 10.5kW shower...

    Thanks for the additional info, Ericmark. Interesting reading. I have bought many an item through eBay and do trust them somewhat. Once I install the shower, I have an electrician who will visit and fully test the RCBO in situ. Before purchasing the eBay version I will write to them...

    Sorry but a question has arisen...... If I purchase the suggested Hagar RCBO (above) Hager ADN150 1 Module 50A Single Pole Type B RCBO 6kA 30mA will the 50A MCB still be needed? Or will that come out to be replaced by the Hagar RCBO Please? Once again, thanks! :wink:
