Thanks Andee. I have done the tap test and can't quite work out if there is a baton or not. Batons are usually set every 12-16 inches but not even the drill test has come up with anything. :(

Thanks Mike. As far as I can see, it is a wall that is made up of 3 layers of plasterboard There is a small channel dug out for one 3 core cable to feed a double socket, coming from the ceiling. I have made several test holes to find a baton, but unsuccessful.

Hello. I am looking to install several kitchen wall cupboards. As far as I can make out the wall is made up of 3 sheets of plasterboard only with no cavity or batons. The cupboards may contain a decent weight, so the fixings need to be strong and secure. What is the best fixings to use...

Again, thanks Cider. ;) I have watched quite a few bearing videos and now know well how to do it. It's simply my inner bearing and seal really do not want to come out. I have even poured boiling water over it, as one suggested. And still, the little sh*te, simply will not budge! :mad:

Hello. Looks like I have to replace the bearings to my Hoover washing machine. Does anyone know if I have to replace the drum spider please? Also is the spider part of the actual drum or can I buy it individually please? Plus I am struggling to find the parts needed to do the job...
