Do you think it just needs a service? what part gets dirty/coked up to cause it to click away and not fire up ?

Sorry unknown I've only lived here for 3 months, been a great boiler up until now. Can I service it myself, clean the burners or does it have to be a CORGI engineer, I'm a very capable mechanical engineer by profession.

28i RSF and Wireless Towerstat RF ( Selectable Volt Free ) Hi I am trying to fit a Towerstat RF wireless thermostat to my old age boiler a 28i RSF, this is the old grey one with only a mechanical timer unit rather then any thermostat. I have found a guide that mentions the CM907...
