    I have a Triton Enrich 8.7kwh Electric shower which is running hot and cold. So typically it runs as normal for a few minutes, gets a little bit hotter then it should, goes cold for about 20-30 sec, then back to hot for about 40sec and repeats. This started happening suddendly about a week...

    Cheers kevplumb.. Can you point out what the inlet filter should look like on that earlier link: http://www.shower-spares.co.uk/aqualisa/aquastyle_instantaneous.htm Is it part 7/7a? And is part of the shower assembly or existing pipework? What should i be checking for exactly?

    ...just a quick update, it just happened again, with the central heating being on manually i.e. not on the timer. The CH (central heating) and HW (hot water) symbols were both flashing on the potterton while it was clicking and while the boiler was switching on/off...

    Many thanks for the replies guys, the problem is very intermittent, the reason i think it is the potterton is because im fairly sure it is clicking when the bolier is switching on & off - i.e. it seems to be triggering the the on/off of the boiler. If its not the potterton how do i diagnose...

    Thanks for your replies, the wylex fuse holder is brown in colour, it may have had the red dots on it but i cannot see them now it they are located on the top half of the holder. JohnD i not sure what you mean by fusewire in this context as it doesnt use fusewire as such but HRC type fuses...
