I have a baxi solo wm 30/4s and when replacing the room stat, wired it up wrongly. There was pop from near the boiler and the kitchen tripped out. Now the water still heats fine, but not the radiators and there is no power going to the room stat. Does anyone have any ideas??

I replaced the thermostat, but connected the wire up wrongly. There was a pop and the trip switches went. Iv wired it up correctly now but it doesnt heat the radiators when you turn it up. The boiler has fired but it seems the thermostat doesnt call for heat? Any ideas anyone?

Hi, we have a 3 bulb spot light strip on the ceiling as a main light. Turned off both the lighting rings on the main switch coming in and the wires appear to be live still - any ideas? Ian

Im trying to fit a new ceiling light, the previous occupants removed the light and left bare wires. Coming out of the ceiling there are 3 x 2c wires red and black. Ive tried to connect each of the wires to the new light and only one pair works but the dimmer switch on the wall wont dim or turn...
