Thanks for the reply i will do that just use a hacksaw to cut the olives off would it affect the performance or anything if I did use the 15mm ones with the reducer

I'm looking at fitting the Danfoss RAS-C2 ive got 8mm microbore pipe but the exsiting ones have been fitted with 15mm trv with reducers would it be ok to use the 15mm danfoss ras c2 and keep the reducer to save cutting the olives or would it be better to fit the 8/10mm danfoss ras c2 any help...

Would this affect the radiators as I've fitted drayton trv4s and having problems with some rads warming up then cutting off and not coming back on

It's slightly open at the mo so should I open it or close it

Does anybody know what this valve does its only open a small amount

If I unscrew the valve head on like setting 4 you can feel the tension on pushing on the valve body pin it's as tho there is either something wrong with the pins or the valve heads

Hi I've tried all the setting and now I've got them on setting 6 and balanced them using the lockshield valve i might order a new trv head and see if its the heads that are faulty the valves are install vertical

Hi no its just 3 rads upstairs the downstairs rads I have got all set on max setting and try are working on max setting yes I've used the drayton tool

If I take the valve head off the rads get very hot

Yeah it's getting air flow the radiators are under the window but we have got blinds

I've fitted drayton 15mm trv4 with reducer onto 8mm microbore. I've put the valve heads on setting 4 and the radiators heat up then switch off and the rads go cold and room goes cold but doesn't seem to switch back on but if I remove the valve head then the radiators get very hot

If I fit 15mm trvs on a 8mm microbore pipe with the reducer adaptors will this affect the flow going through the trv valves

Ok thanks will try and balance the radiators first does it make it harder to balance as its 8mm microbore pipe going to the radiators

Would it be better if I set the flow temp higher

Ok cheers so if I just try and get the flow and return on the rads to 12 degrees the just check the return temp on the boiler and see what it is
