as mentioned get cooking with the blow torch easy
but if ya still struggling
rothenburger do a universal rad key with a ratchet its very good
I have two here, one of which as the brass regulator. One of the bonuses was that no matter which way you oriented it, the flame remained the same. With cheap gas blow lamps, you get the flaring as gas turns to liquid coming through the jet..
light warm up with gas burner ,grips with ragged teeth 1/2 round wiggly waggle ,then more heat ,back of stanley knife ,then rothenburg mesh cleanes ,guanteed will work
Hi B A S
For what it is worth I have the Rothenburg SuperFire 2. , As do the few plumbers and heating technicians I know as friends.
It even does creme broule
Ive bought a Rothenburger pipe freezing kit 500ml.
Can you cut the sleeves to size? I reckon i need to half it to get it in or am i taking it back to the shop?
I have solved this sort of problem with my Rothenburger Test Bucket. Pressure water against the block and released. I have only tried this in an open vented system, not a sealed one.
bullfinch is a trade name thats been around for years when it comes to blowlamps for plumbers. google them to get full catalogue of torch's.
the rothenburg torch's fall apart and are very expensive for what they are.
Got a Rothenburger and always disconnect it. Last time used was about 18 months ago and when I had a shed tidy at the weekend it still feels fairly full. (The gas canister, not the shed!:LOL: )
KOPEX are good rothenburger have a quality issue for past couple of years where some of them last half a dozen cuts.
Dont touch the PTS own make ones they only last a copuple of cuts to
always use a rothenburger test pump but if possible i tee in a mains connection and hose pipe to fill it first. Most times you have mains of at least 3 bar so not too much hand pumping!
Rothenburger sure fire2.had 2 in 16 yrs.used most days.rattles around in my tool box most days.dropped frequently.never had a problem with it.will work all day upside down if that is your thing.the blow torch not me.
get a primus auto ignition power jet torch they get much hotter ive had both types and wouldent go back to the rothenburger
