Ive bought a Rothenburger pipe freezing kit 500ml.

Can you cut the sleeves to size? I reckon i need to half it to get it in or am i taking it back to the shop?

I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that. You need a good frost block & that will need a big enough sleeve.

+1

The size of plug also dictates how long it will stay frozen for and reducing it will mean it becoming ineffective as a suitable plug for any decent length of time

Thanks for your replies.

I thought id try it as I only needed 5 minutes or so.

I cut them in half and taped the bottom. It worked fine but I understand that if you needed longer or a bigger section its probably not a great idea.
