What fitting would I need to attach to the Underfloor heating pipe to the rothenburger Pressure tester considering it won’t be connected to manifold?

What have you been doing today?

...work is a bit slow at the mo (waiting for information/parts) so I have been PAT testing most of the week. Yesterday I PAT failed a Rothenburger pipe threading machine (circa several £k) and ended up stripping it down to remove the motor so I can clean all the gunk out of the windings, took...

Shower pressure of cold, leaky sink! Help please :)

As your pipes are tiled in, I’d give anything a try......the Rothenburger is indeed what I meant, and I’d also consider a wet vac, with a suitably taped nozzle to fit on the exposed pipe. The basin mate is what you need, and it is inserted up into the basin and secured with that back nut -...

    Removal Of 60's Radiator Fittings

Thanks a lot for this. I think you're right. I should have taken this photo when I asked the question... If you are correct about the tool I need, will the Monument Grip Slotted 2 Step tool fit onto my own rachet handle or would I need to purchase a special handle for it? Only it's much...

    Removal Of 60's Radiator Fittings

...make sure that it is an actual hex inside... The old valves usually have 2 nibs and for that you'll need a slotted key/wrench such as the Rothenburger radiator wrench or maybe one of these... https://monumenthandtools.co.uk/monument-grip-slotted-2-step-16mm-22mm-hex-radiator-valve-tool-mon4516y

Turning off main water outside house

I think you should save up and buy a torch. mud and grit may have buried the tap handle. A wet and dry vac will suck it out if you can poke at it to loosen it. Or a long kitchen spoon. A ladle may be to big to work with. I clean mine out every couple of years. Once you have exposed the...

...last year and after a short while noticed a pong in upstairs bathroom followed by toilet backing up every few weeks. I unblock it with a rothenburger plunger. Search by date order

Curiouser and curiouser. I don't get the same number of results as you when I search for "rothenburger", I get 59. It would make sense for a discrepancy to be down to not getting hits for posts from people on my ignore list (although 75 feels like rather a lot). But I do get 59 from each...

    Pipe freezing

I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that. You need a good frost block & that will need a big enough sleeve.
