    Screw looks good, inside looks eroded. Have attached images. Also tried tightening screw, it only tightens to a decree then stops and just doesn't accept the screwdriver tightening anymore! Advice would be appreciated

    Would you recommend this? I am good at diy stuff but fearful I might cause more damage than good. Do you think its the seal thats worn off? If so would like plumbers tape be sufficient enough?

    Thanks for the info, top nut was slightly loose, had to fasten it anticlockwise, by the looks of it doesn't drip, hopefully stays like this!
