I understand you can see or feel the baffle on a vertical radiator from the inlet point of the vertical radiator

When you say wirless thermostat do you mean the sort that also does the programm job like Hive, do you have a receiver and a thermostat?

Is it a bad practice to mix aluminium and steel radiators? Is there a special inhibitor required if they are to be mixed?

I thought it would be possible given I prepared the area exactly as required. My problem is engaging with the plumber. He was recommended and he isn’t cheap but... I think he is a bit of bully and fobs me off when I ask a question. I find it hard to keep on with the same questions all the time...

It’s a refurb so we only have one tap. We will have other taps in two weeks time.

I only measured the flow rate from an old tap in the kitchen and it was 19 litres per minute. That was with a black half inch copper supply which I have since replaced with 32mm MDPP

When I measured the pressure before instal it was 3.5 bar

The tap is from a imperial half inch pipe and was new in circa 1975 judging from the onyx handle and green basin. Before the Unvented it was a combination boiler.

Hi and thanks for the reply... Hot LED housing = the actualy bit with the led in and is connected to the driver by heat resitant flex when i mentioned about 1mm cable he said that that is for solid core and that flex carries more current?? thanks again :) No the driver has a connection...

My electrical guy says 0.75mm flex can be used to string a set of downlighters together. To be specific, string the led drivers together rather than directly to the hot LED housing. Is this wrong?
