Dont know if there is a section for this, but here goes.. The glass roof has started to slip down and i am not sure how to get it back in place.... Any ideas anyone..??

Hi Gasman...the 24kw is the one the Potterton web site recomended for the size of the house.Also it has come in at the same price as both the 18kw boilers that BG has recomended...Surely it is better to have a bigger boiler in the first place incase we extend and have to add extra rad's..???

POTTERTON PROMAX HE PLUS 24 SL NG We are having a new kitchen fitted and wanted to replace the boiler as its getting on a bit....BG recomended a Glow worm or a Baxi condensing boiler, both rated at 18kw..(I think i got that right)... Would the Potteton be a better choice..??? All advice...

think i might get it flushed then......Help to protect the investment in new parts :D :idea:

As far as i know the system was put in when the house was built (Aprox 15-17yrs ago)..Yes there are some of the rads that dont heat up at all.... Might just get it flushed before we invest in new boiler and rads... :D

Power flushing a system if i am going to replace the boiler and rads....Also there will be a Magnaclean fitted to the system lee

no bud its not £150 for the rads...it would be £150 on top of the price of a power flush.. :lol:

Hi guys I have just been looking at a quote for a power flush when i replace my boiler.....For an extra £150 i can replace all the rads in the house......would it be better to replace the rads or have the power flush done... Lee

When we had our conservatory fitted a couple of years ago we got it from a company called CONSERVATORYS 4U .... They are on the web so you could check them out..Hope this helps. Lee

Hi every one , new on here so please bear with me.. Just had British Gas round to quote for replacing the boiler..Alot o what they said makes sense apart from the price £2400-2600 depending on which boiler we go for... Q1 do i need to get the system POWER FLUSHED as they advised. Q2 now i...
