Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

Is there any need for the condensate pipe to be adjusted so it drops at an angle? I read that it shouldn't be horizontal (like it currently is)

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

The engineer is not happy with me now. He phoned back ****ed off as he assumed I reported him to GasSafe. Even though I told him I just phoned to see who should deal with the condensate pipe. Apparently, he did fit the pipe but my builder cut it off even though he never told me that.

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

Yep, just sent him a message telling him I've been in contact with GasSafe & was told it should have been fit by the engineer and asked him to come round to rectify it. I should say it's 100% not dumping out litres of water per hour it seems to fire hour like every few hours and it isn't a lot...

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

Yeah, this house has been a nightmare for me. Is there anything I should look out for damage wise in regards to corrosive water damage? As I say I can't see anything obvious

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

Best part of a year although it must only started leaking after I moved in (2 weeks ago) as the puddle only appeared last week which was when I noticed the leak

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

He is indeed gas safe. I've told him I want him to connect it as I just don't want to risk it as I'm pretty much clueless with plumbing (& DIY in general)

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

Oh, that's interesting. I'll contact the installer again. Do you think I can expect further damage? The plaster it's been dripping on seems fine still

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

It is an external one but no drain nearby, but there is a waste pipe right near which I assume goes into a drain

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

It was fit by a gas safe engineer, he fit everything and expected the builder to fit the condensate pipe to the waste pipe but he left before he fit it and just hid the issue behind my dishwasher. I'm now trying to find out how to fit this condensate pipe to my waste pipe. Is it a DIY friendly...

Damaged plasterboard when removing skirting boafd

Perfect, so my plan is to use bonding plaster to fix the damage to make it level with current wall then filler over it. Thanks for the help!

Damaged plasterboard when removing skirting boafd

I was considering that or just cutting out the damaged drywall and replacing it. When you mention the finish, I would've thought filling it would make it good again with the plaster above it (assuming I sand it down). Would that not be the case?

Damaged plasterboard when removing skirting boafd

I was removing some skirting board to replace it but when I was pulling the skirting off it looks like the the skirting was glued to the plasterboard so when I ripped it off it took some of the plaster board with it. Is there anything I can do to make it good?

Is plywood the best material for non-bathroom sub-floors?

What about 18mm OSB3? That seems to be the best value

Is plywood the best material for non-bathroom sub-floors?

I'm trying to refresh my sub-floor as some of it is water damaged and as I've got my carpet up it seems like the perfect time. I've tried to do research into this but it's hard to find reliable info. So far I've found I can use either Plywood, OSB or Chipboard for my floorboards and I'm getting...
