I there i am thinking of purchasing a new multi detector as anybody used one which they would recommend to me?. I would use it mainly for live wires. (I have tried the cheaper ones but they seem to give false readings)

Ive changed 4 or 5 floodlight bulbs with no problems normally just as it was wrong voltage.

I have used these for a nearly a year and they are superb. The handles also give a great grip. The tips are excellent due to laser grove ends. Bright coloured in your box. also for only £27.99 they are a good deal...

Okay then mate. I Dont really go to BnQ anymore i seem to go to wickes as i find its cheaper for materials.But i go to screwfix for all tools.

Changing a bulb in an outside security light and getting a shock when the bulb explodes because i was handed a 110v bulb instead of 250v bulb. all you saw was a big blue flash and glass all over the place!! Worse part was walking back down ladder shaking like a leaf. :D
