Yeh BG said it could be blocked at the manifold which would be under the wooden floor upstairs, also said there could be 2 manifolds so if the floor had to come up it then gets really messy and expensive. If it was tricking through the pipe then surely some of the rad would be getting hot...

10mm microbore all sealed in the wall, only bit you can see is the 2-3" that comes out of the wall, guessing that the I/D on the microbore is only around 8mm so no big surprise that it's blocked with such a small inside diameter. Your nigh on impossible does not fill me with confidence TBH...

Hi alan333, Yeh as I said BG installed a more powerfull brand new pump than what I had 4 weeks ago, and still no heat getting to those 2 rads, new pump is set to max to try and get any blockage free with the other rads turned to off to get max flow to affected rads.

The pipe under the pump is 7" looking at the installation this would not be enough as it says to cut 195mm out in order to fit the filter This is why I wanted to place under the Myson in the same length of pipe as it's long enough, but based on what you said this is a No No ?

Hi All... Had British gas out some time ago as some of rads were not getting hot, even though I have breakdown cover they would not touch my system and they said they wanted 850 to power flush and fit a magnaclean. I'm not able to fork out 850, so had to go the DIY route, so far 3 weeks...

Can anyone confirm that if I get the new design Siemens pcb, is it a case of just unscrew the old pcb and take out the connectors to the board and screw in the siemens and then re-plug in the connectors to the Siemens board...?? I know if I just get the same board it's a simple unscrew take...
