big all just read your reply i am about to fit skirting boards soon to new room and have been thinking for awhile about laminate flooring under the skirting so i wouldnt have to fit that extra ugly beading to hide gaps from laminate would it be better???
thirdeye you were spot on with your cost had a 2 quotes at that and 2 at about 110 ceiling isnt that bad to warrant paying that amount so gonna just repair it so much for a break for a few days grrrrrrrr least im out of my wifes way still

hi i need to lay 2 x 10 mm speedfit pipes along the concrete floor below joists for approx 5 metres also at 2 points it may come in contact with 2 electrical cables at different locations going across the room i know this is not ideal but will it be ok cheers

just found out the piping is speedfit, does anyone know if i can connect a new radiator using microbore or any other pipe as i can not get speed fit close by

the piping is microbore ,copper with outer coating of some kind of plastic, so is that ok next to cable, my other question before is , is it ok to tap in to the other piping near the other radiators and does it make any difference at which radiator
just remembered ha ha i would rather add piping from the radiator before going up the stairs as there is only carpet there, in the loo and cloak room it is laminate cheers
