I saw this stuff in B&Q and was wondering what it's for? I need to do some internal rendering on a wall that was suffering from damp, should I use this stuff rather than building sand for the render mix? fanks!

Is this in regard to the routing of the wiring? Flex is in a conduit that drops vertically from the ceiling down the wall into the mounting box about 1ft from the boiler. no sink or cabinets on that wall, is that ok?
