A while back,maybe wrong,in Maplins i saw a mains alarm extension where you plug an adapter inside the house,an then plug another in the garage,probably with a sensor,it then alarms the garage with probably a siren going off inside the house,is there such a device or have i got it wrong.Any info...

got old BT Diverse2051,thinking of updating to the Diverse 6450,any feedback would be helpful,or are there better BT phones out there,had good reception with the old Diverse. Thanks Terry

Thanks Saxondale,much appreciated,got it all back to normal now,blew the strobe fuse,had to pick some up from Maplins,switched off mains ,disconnected internal battery for 5or 6 seconds,all ok,keyboard back to life. Thanks again Terry

Hi Saxondale,could you explain for me BOTH power feeds,as i explained i only disconnected the plus on the panel for zone 3. many thanks Terry

just changed a pir,the bellbox went off as i was replacing it,that stopped after 15mins,now i have no response on the keypad,the only light on is Tamper,also the keypad is still illuminated as usual,have i blown a fuse or something? Terry p.s not sure if the strobe was on when the bell...

Is it possible to tile a garage floor,if so do i need special tiles,cement ect,only used for parking car,obviously i dont want the tiles to crack. Many thanks Terry

I want to put plain wallpaper on my ceilings,can i use a heavy duty(120g)lining paper or are there other papers i should use. many thanks Terry

detached garage no DPM floor solid,breaking up in the odd places(jack use) patched up over the years but base is sound Dont use it for mechanics anymore hoping to skim without it cracking,that is my main concern,only going to be used for parking and the odd repair,would like to have a nice...

How close do i need to fit the gripper to the skirting board,do they butt up or do i leave a clearance,also do i use double sided tape for concete around the fire place,dont really want to nail or screw,or is there a special tape i need to use. many thanks Terry

when the heating and water is on(both red lights on to confirm)i've only got to slightly touch th unit or pull the flap down and the unit makes a single click and the heating light goes out,water light stays on,could this be a bad connection or faulty unit? many thanks Terry
