Hi All, I'm trying to drain the system but when I undo the square nut nothing happens and the insert remains in the valve. Will anything drastic happen if i try to pull the internal part out of the valve as I will obviously need to close it off. Please see the drain valve in my image album...

It's an Ideal Type RS 80N, I'm in work at the moment but I can get the number off the plate later if you need it. There's no motorised valves at all. I'll try the wiring centre, would I have to take out one of the link wires for my system? Cheers

Hi All, Is it a wise move to add X200 & X400 at the same time to clean the system as I've got a major kettling problem after restarting the heating system after coming back from holidays. If not should I go with the X200 for a few days then add the X400? Regards Paul.
