Zanussi fills with water when not in use!!

is it clean water or dirty water? the usual causes are: Clean water: the electric valve at the back is leaking. it is a replaceable part. Workround is to turn off the service valve (tap) (probably under the sink) where the blue or red plastic hose is attached Dirty water: the waste...

    LPR600 DISHWASHER WATER IN BOTTOM.

The drain hose is connected to a spigot under the sink, isn't it? Pull the drain hose through into the sink unit and lift as high as possible before it attaches to the spigot. (so that it loops up from the spigot before going down to the dishwasher). This will prevent dirty water from the sink...

    hoover washer backfills

Thats it. It's where the dirty water is coming from. Loop the hose upward to the underside of the sink. That way it shouldn't be able to flow into the machine. Also check for blockages in the sink drain and u trap.

    One way trap?

Yes you can, 40mm wastepipe size. If you keep your sink pipe clear though and loop the hose up as advised, you would avoid needing one.

    SERVIS AUTOWASHER COMPLAINT

something you could do yourself, look at the run of the waste water hose; does it go into a vertical standpipe to the drain, or is it connected to the sink waste? If on a sink waste and it does not rise in a loop above the sink water level, you can get dirty sink water running down into the...

Sewage flow into the washing machina through drain pipe

that is because it is flowing into the washing m/c as others have said put a loop in the hose (horse shoe shape) this will stop it from happening provided the top of the horse shoe shape is higher than the spiggot. also spiigots are well known for blocking, a stand pipe would be better...

I find water inside my dishwasher

I want to thank all who replied to my post. I appreciate your response. The hose connected to the bottom of the sink did not have a loop higher than the sink pipe but I looped the hose higher and now I the problem is solved. I guess the water was coming from the sink.

I find water inside my dishwasher

I think you have answered your own question.....unless this hose has a loop in it which is higer than the water level of your sink !

    Zanussi Nexus waste connection

You can use your drain hose in either way. One thing to watch for though, there should be a rubber cuff on the end of the hose. If this cuff is missing it can be difficult to get a watertight seal where it plugs onto the sink trap cone fitting. No you don't need an anti-syphon hose but make sure...

    water back up

You need to tie up the dishwasher hose so it loops up higher than the connection to the sink trap.

    Plumbing in Dishwasher

Disagree with Bahco  The sink waste will not run back into washing machine if you loop the discharge hose upwards towards the sink top before connecting (for example if you have to cut a hole through end of kitchen unit for discharge hose, site this as high as you can to ensure drain-back...

    non return valve

Thanks kevplumb but what I'm trying to say is, does the non return valve have any sort of block that would stop the sink waste entering the washing machine hose rather than making a loop.
