Hello, Recently after running the shower for 5 mins, it trips out . If I reset it via the fuseboard it will again run for a few minutes before the same happens again. I'm a little concerned re. the safety of this so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lo, Boiler wouldn't start initially as the fan had gone. Engineer replaced this but the boiler won't ignite. It sparks but doesn't light. Engineer thinks it may be the gas valve but before forking out 9n a new one I wondered if anyone has more experience with this ancient boiler. Cheers

Both guys reckoned they couldn't do the repair then anyhow as they didn't have the part. Guy came today and says it's the diverter that needs replacing. Would that seem right or could it just be the diaphragm?

Ripping them off? You do talk some rubbish. The one guy who came round was asked to come and give me a quote, which he did. Funny how he didn't have an issue but you did. It's standard practice with every other job to get quotes, why should plumbing be any different?
