Losing pressure and now no hot water - Baxo Combi 105HE

Lo, Had a guy round and the micro switch for hot water plus the diaphragm have gone. I'll add a pic of the valve (far left) - but he reckons that needs replacing and was the cause of the pressure loss issue. Any ideas how much I'd be looking to pay for the job ? Cheers

Losing pressure and now no hot water - Baxo Combi 105HE

Hi, Have been losing pressure constantly for a while now and recently have to top the boiler up every few days. There does appear to be a leak from a valve on the back left of the unit - would this be as simple as changing a washer on this? Also, today the hot water won't go on - the heating...

Very low pressure but boiler appears to work fine

My Baxi 105he consistently loses pressure, despite me having a plumber into check radiators and repair a leaking valve. The pressure drops to about 0.3 and remains there. The CH and water all work fine, albeit the boiler is lightly noisier. Is this harmful to the boiler or not? Thanks

Fitting a PIV unit in loft

I see - so you think it might just vent draughts of cold air rather than diffusing them. I haven't been able to find much at all on any of them, just generic office kinda vents. - I got the part number for the Drimaster diffuser kit but can't even find anything on that online. Any ideas...

Fitting a PIV unit in loft

Hmm,,quite annoying. I was looking at the installation instructions and just thought any 4 way vent would work - see here http://nuaire.info/IandM/671109.pdf I did contact Drimaster re. a spare diffuser but the quoted me £80 which I thought was a bit OTT. Do you know of any 3rd party...

Fitting a PIV unit in loft

I'm replacing a similar unit that was already up but broke . Presume the person who initially had it fitted had an assesment done. When you say a normal grill wouldn't work, I was looking at these kind of things :-...

Fitting a PIV unit in loft

Hello, bought a Drimaster 2000 unit of ebay but came with no ceiling diffuser or ducting. Bought a 200mm grill and flex ducting but unsure how I would attach something like that to the unit. Is there some kind of clip or something I can use to attach the ends to the unit and ceiling duct...

Water not draining under UPVC door

Hi, read on the boards here and I see that the water should drain away via the channels under the door. Tested this and it wasn't happening so put a clothes hangar down to try to clear blockages but with same result. Any help would be appreciated.

    Dodgy looking wiring

I think it's an airing cupboard ,yep. Also , I think the boiler may be just around the corner and the shower is directly above, so will check that out. The loft hasn't been converted though, no. Thanks
