So i should chase them up to give me the warranty in writing?

Hi got the double glazing done couple months ago. Got the fensa but no invoice or warranty in writing. Fitting company saying the fensa is your warranty. Verbally 10 years for upvc, 5 years glass and 2 years handles. Are they correct or should i get it in writing from them?

The concrete canopy goes all the way across the front of my house. Does the double glazing need to support it with bay poles or is it a cantilever and it won't be pressing down on the windows?

Mine is a cantilever concrete slab stretching from my front door all the way to my bay window on the side of my house. They are now putting a matching colour plastic round pipe with aluminium insert in to support it. Is that sufficient? Apparently the cantilever roof is not structural and does...

Just had double glazing fitted. The bay window doesnt have support bay poles but instead a kind of bracket that goes from top to bottom externally. Is this a regular alternative if the bay poles and windows were mismeasured? Would have had to reduce window size to use the poles.

Could even put a 6" gravel board there to cover it and make the gap 6inch

Just confused wether to leave a gap and cover gap to give the post enough concrete on all 4 sides or flush it sgainst wall with only 3 sides concreted

Update: i ended up making the bottom 2 bricks level with the rest of the wall amd will put the post flush now plus 2ft depth in the ground with postcrete. I needed to know what size bolts will i need and rawplugs to fix the concrete post to the wall?

After finally getting the old posts out i move onto the next stage.... 1ft gravelboard 5ft panels. If i flush the concrete post against this wall then it wont go under ground because theres 2 bricks and 1 ft of concrete pointing out at the bottom. If i put the post into the ground then there...

Hi guys. Im thinking if putting a fence up but need to get rid of this concrete post first. Any idea how far deep they go and wether they have any concrete block underneath? Or any suggestions?

It would suit me more to just keep the existing system but im not sure i can do that without the tank in the loft.
