could have been a blockage which got pushed through, it would explain why your pressure was low and a load of crap came out :)

I don`t use wire wool, i thought he meant power flush like you`d do with an old system, i flushed the pipes with water before getting the boiler installed :)

Strange for that to happen on new work, it can happen if you skim over old work and not unibond it, but for it to happen on new plasterboard is a new one for me. I would unibond and go over it with easy fill then sand that back.

Thanks guys for the help, turns out it was the plate heat exchanger, it was solid with lime scale.

System did not need flushing as everything is new, i replaced all the old rads plus pipework as the old stuff was mixed with steel pipes, the rads were around fifty years old as well i reckon lol. I`ll check the pump and try to balance it again. Thanks for the help guys.

Well i have tried balanceing it, but still the heat does not seem to get all the way around, nor do the ones on the end get very hot. The current boiler is a vizo condenser combi vizo24. I got it for £400 and was told by the guy who sold it it would be powerfull enough for the job. Now i`m not...

I was called out today to look at the above named boiler, the pump was not running for the c/h so i replaced that and the c/h now runs fine, however the dhw has zero pressure at all, can anyone advise me on this please?
