Hi I found an Electrician to do an EICR but he is only registered for "Domestic installer" and not for "Rental safety report" . I called NICEIC, they said that's OK he can do EICR on blank form and not NICEIC form which is still acceptable. Your thoughts?

I tried everything then called HOTPOINT to have a look, the engineer said fault in the insulation which is at the back of fridge compartment, beyond repair. They didn't charge for the call out; fair play.

The fuse in the plug for the washing isn't blown, the machine was on being used when I was there on Wednesday, 5 days after the incident. Tenant hasn't reported another mcb trip , is there a need for electrician to investigate? I spoke to my electrician, he said no need if only once.
