cutting concrete roof tiles to fit lean to roof width

Great, yes I've allowed 50mm overhang on both sides. I think with a bit of shunt I can get it to be a half tile on the end, so hopefully will be fine. thanks

cutting concrete roof tiles to fit lean to roof width

Hi I've got a lean-to roof which has cover width of 8.42 double roman tiles. Am I OK to cut tiles and drill a new fixing hole? I will will try and ensure one of the humps is on the outer edge of the roof. I've got some verge clips which I hope will support it a bit, perhaps some epoxy resin too...

Hotpoint WMK760PUK(R) door lock and wiring burned

Hi About 3 months ago the door lock on our washer was clicking constantly. I ordered a new branded door lock and fitted it fine. The plastic connector from the wiring harness to the lock showed some evidence of burning but it fitted OK, still, to the new lock and functioned fine. This...

Hi the fill valve says 'nuca a101 WRAS approved product'. definitely nothing else in the bag - but could just have been packed wrong. Looking on google looks like it just some Chinese product. Bought it from a UK website but that doesn't mean much. Think I'll install it, see what happens and...

    loft options

Yes, unless there is fire escape via a velux window. I hadn't posted the whole plan - including fire escape. Just as I didn't ask, for instance, about electrics or indeed natural light. I was just trying to establish if ventialtion should be increased. So to my original questions on...

    lintel spec

hey thanks for that. Catnic very helpful! I emailed my drawings and they got back to me confirming the standard lintel is fine for the job. They also confirmed what you said that the corner loading has little effect on the load numbers. I don't think I need planning permission as per...
