Hi there, i have a question regarding insulation over my downlighters, do I need fire covers over my lights? The previous owner of the house installed Aurora Dlm 983 and 981s upstairs. Thing is they've been installed in such a way that a cover won't be able to fit properly over all of them...

hello folks have a new interior door to paint its bare wood at the mo and some mdf floating shelves which are also bare, i want to do both in gloss so am i right in buying a primer, undercoat then finally a gloss with a light sanding in between the primer and undercoat? thankyou

well i was looking forwards to laying a nice new rustic oak laminate flooring in my room, until i got to the bit where i have to cut angles for my window bay, i spent nearly half a day trying to figure out how to do this and i cannot for the life of me figure this out, so i give up with it ill...

a magic mitre would save all that banging and crashing, surely!!??

ok ta thing is the window bay corners are going to give grief they are no where near 45 degree angles, what do you recommend for those, i did a mock put up the gap was rather large

hi there my window bay area has 2 external corners which arent 45 degrees infact i havent a clue what they are, im putting some coving and seeing as you can only get 45 degree mitre blocks what would you peeps recommend to get a closer cut as possible? thank you!

well the coving had its under coat and some of them have bowed a bit bah :o( so going to have to get someone to help me put them up now
