    First van suggestions

    It's not that difficult to make up a lining and you can make it whatever size you want. Sounds like you need 6x1 PAR, can rip it down to suit if you think it's too wide.

    Stud wall dpc

    use a couple of felt nails and tack the DPC to the underside of the soul plate, then fix as normal. Will be fine

    Bedroom design - help needed

    You could sort of Box it off. Get a chippy in to make a rectangle frame fixed to the wall and rafters/joists. Then clad it in MDF, couple of doors in it and use it for storage. And your wardrobe could probably go in underneath.
