Good evening,
I couldnt find this anywhere on the forum before posting....
Tonight our Triton T100XR has developed a fault. It is about 7years old.
My son was in the shower when it suddenly cut out and the water stopped coming out. He stayed in for a couple of seconds before getting out...
Hi, I'm after a bit of advice as can quite find the answer to my issue.
I'm redoing the fireplace and will be tiling the chamber with appropriate stone tiles.
It was originally boarded with vermiculite ribbed board but that warped soon after being fitted. I have discovered that in order to get...
Hi,
I need some advice please.
I am currently redecorating the lounge and have decided that our old Satchwell TLX 2203 thermostat looks a bit old and tired for the room. I just want to get a nice white, more modern looking one. I have never changed a thermostat before and the wiring of the...
Hi,
my FDL570 detergent dispenser does not open any more, i have read through the forum and the internet and it seems like it is the solenoid causing this.
My question is this - is it possible to get a replacement solenoid or do i have to buy the complete assembly? If, so can someone...
I have sources a lock mechanism with microswitch for £13 +postage - i managed to break the white connector block though, where can these be obtained from + are they easy to remove and fit from the wiring? Do i need a special tool?
Sorry if that is a daft question
Thanks
Dan.
Problem identified!!!!
I have just taken front panel off and found the microswitch that is related to the door clip mechanism has burnt out.
Any ideas where i can get one from and how much and how easy to fit?
Thanks in advance,
Dan.
Forgive my ignorance - How do you mean an explanation?
As far as i know i haven't done it - i have packed it with insulation a few times to prevent draughts etc but that shouldnt cause the rips / tears. I would assume it has always been like that. Does it need replacing / repair?
Thanks for your reply
I did the hosepipe test that to try and eliminate it being around the flashings and that my fix on that part worked - it did leak in when i wet around the flashings (almost instantly) so i figured i must have a 2 part problem once that was sorted.
Dan
Thanks for your reply - I attempted to re-point the flashings, the old lead sealant was a bit cracked - i dug out all of the old lead sealant in it, allowed it to dry (as it was wet behind) and filled it full and 'smoothed it off. I did this on the right side of the pitch (from ridge down) to...
Thnaks for your reply!!Hi, sorry i was doing it last night late on and just wanted to get the bones of what was happening on the post. I will put a few more pics and a better explanation on tonight as I am just in the process of looking at the problem again at the minute.
I know little about...
Hi guys, hoping for a pointer in the right direction with this problem that is driving me to my wits end....
I will try and explain as best as can with my level of knowledge.
I have been having water come into my house where the hallway extension meets the original front of the property...
To be honest neither of us have mentioned any more about it. I've avoided the subject / contact with them and they haven't said anything either. Mind you, they've been away on holiday for the last couple of weeks.
Everyone I have shown the photos to says the same, the damage existed...
Thanks to everyone for your responses relating to this - you pretty much confirmed what i was thinking.
The black pipework is all mine anyway so i'll be sorting that myself anyway.
The only damage to their garage (on the right hand side is an ever so slight 'warping' of the soffit board...
The protruding parts of the interior wall appear to be almost 'added' to the inside. Where the liverpool photo is makes a 'shelf'which lead me to believe it may be almost 'freestanding' and a reason for the cracks (due to movement). Also, if you look closely, there is not 'dust' or 'debris'...
