Good evening,
I couldnt find this anywhere on the forum before posting....
Tonight our Triton T100XR has developed a fault. It is about 7years old.
My son was in the shower when it suddenly cut out and the water stopped coming out. He stayed in for a couple of seconds before getting out wondering what had happened. Then it started giving out a load of steam and a small amount of water - he is young and quick so didnt get scalded luckily. After this it didn't start again, but after a few minutes it started working again while i was testing it. The shower ran for a round 60-90 seconds or so and then the same thing happened. cut out then red hot steam with a bit of water.
Can anyone please advise what the part is that has developed a fault and whether this is something that is possibly repairable (Cost effective) or just best to get a new unit? Would it be heater related?
Thanks in advance for any advice given.
Dan.
