    Do compression fittings need to have the pipe pushed all the way in. Or is just past the back end of the olive enough?

    Have a property that has a gate valve for a stop tap so obviously doesn't turn the water off fully. Then a conex iso valve after this. If it starts leaking from the slotted part when turned off I was going to swap it for another, with the water throttled down as much as possible on the gate valve

    Thanks. Its not totally like that though I just need 2 45 degree bends pulling on a piece of pipe but need the end of these 45 degree bends to be 400mm apart. Any help?

    Hey I can pull a bend as in the picture but how do I make it so its a set distance been the two ends of the pipe? That will be going in to elbows?

    When you tigthen the.female end.of a flexi on to a 1/2 male iron or iso valve you go more than hand tight, is this not the same?
