Looking for mains latching timeout relay to prevent water pump flooding

I would like to replace the relay which triggers a water pump, with a relay which times out after, say, 10 minutes. And if it times out, it stays locked out until reset. Needs to be 230v AC on both sides of the relay. If it doesn't time out, the next time it's triggered it should come on...

Problems with float switch in header tank

Came home to find the kitchen flooding and water pouring through the ceilings between the loft and the kitchen, via the bathroom. Turns out the float switch, which controls the pump that brings water from the well, had stuck, AND the overflow pipe had the remains of some kind of nest in the end...

Hotpoint FDL570x power button microswitch actuator?

The power button on my old Hotpoint FDL570x isn't pushing the microswitch on the board inside. The microswitch works fine when carefully prodded with a small plastic rod. The clear plastic thing you can see on the bottom image is the thing that conducts the light from the surface-mounted LED...

    Cannot change password

Trying to change my password - it won't accept anything. I've even kept it down to 8 characters. Sorry if this intro is tedious enough to be deserving of one of those naff "cool story, bro" pics, but here goes anyway in order to avoid a series of "did you try..." or "what else is..." or "is there a..." type of questions! 900x450 Telford Copper cylinder. Going by pre-01 phone number I...

Vitrex floorwarm electric underfloor heating for tiles

Hope this is the right subforum - the flooring section seems to exclude tiles, so I'll pick this one! Long story cut short: Popped into Focus today expecting to get nothing, came out with a load of tiles and 5m2 of Vitrex floorwarm underfloor electric heating for nearly 60% off. Hurrah...

Help needed with u values, and does this look a fair quote?

Living off the mains gas grid, heating with LPG is expensive. Twice the price, if I've read this table correctly: http://www.nottenergy.com/energy-costs-comparison3 We've done all we can with insulation, but the current double glazing on the windows is old and incredibly thin (4mm or...
