I'm changing the light fitting in a room (with a single switch), and the way it seemed to have been wired was that one black wire went to the live in the lamp, and the other went to the neutral, while the two red wires were taped together.
Not only does this seem to be one red wire short...
*nevermind* It works the way I thought. Just a loose wire making it not work. I knew it couldn't be as complicated as I'd feared!
This has been asked quite a few times, but for some reason I'm just not understanding any of the answers so I'm hoping asking again will get yet another answer...
I'm using dot and dab to hang plasterboard that will have tiles affixed so have seen advice to also screw through the adhesive dots as well, but what is never mentioned is whether you put the screws in while the adhesive is wet or after it dries!
