I have removed 2 1930s heavy wooden shutters (2.5' x 1.5'). They are non-functional/ornamental and were previously fixed between bricks via 4 wooden wedges (each shutter). I have since removed the wedges and now wish to re-attach the shutters to the front of my house using 4 (or 6)...

I presume these can be removed for cleaning and then refitted? Would be grateful for advice on the best way to remove and then refit. Many thanks.

Thanks both. Think I understand. In other words, a Junction Box after the switch and then L, N & E to each Lamp Holder, so that one failed lamp won't affect the others? Cheers. Richard

I currently have a spur from my upstairs Lighting circuit (via junction Box) for a Switch and Light in loft. It's T&E into Switch (Live to Com / Earth to Earth / Neutral to Choc Bloc) and then Switch to one Lamp Holder (Live L1 to Live / Neutral Choc Block to Neutral / Earth to Earth)...

I've got exactly the same problem, but am wary of covering the underside of the tiled roof with anything other than a fully permeable membrane. I intend to staple Weed Control Fabric to the underside soon. It's fully permeable, but not waterproof, that way I'll be able to see if my roof ever...
