    Metal brace on basement wall. Can it be removed.

    Hi, Doing some work in basement and wondering what this metal brace is and if it is ok to remove it. The brace is not tightly fitted to the wall and has a lot of play in it so i imagine its not serving much of a purpose.

    Problems connecting wall tap. Need some help please.

    The hole at the back of the tap where the pipe fits into is about the size of a 10p coin and is threaded on the inside. I don't have the exact dimaeter but will post it up shortly.

    Hi. My wife wants me to install spotlights in the bedrooms and bathroom. i just wanted to have normal bulbs but nag nag etc etc long story short i lost! So i need to know whats the difference between MR16 and GU10 and which one is better. Better meaning which is more economical. Cheers.
