    Rubber roof paint failed?

It’s obviously useful to know that you think it hasn’t failed, because the manufacturer told me by email that it has. To be honest I’ve never used this type of product before so I think it’s entirely reasonable to assume it might stay shiny. I’m a DIYer, after all, and I thought a forum like...

    Rubber roof paint failed?

Perhaps you think you’re being funny but I’m not an idiot. I have to re-do the work, and some honest advice would go a long way here. Quite depressing the lack of community spirit here and I’ll take my queries elsewhere in future

    Rubber roof paint failed?

Yes, but it’s supposed to last 10 years, not 2… the previous roof paint did.

    Rubber roof paint failed?

No, don’t think so. Not yet, anyway. Do you think it might be okay to leave it as is? Is it normal for this to happen?

    Rubber roof paint failed?

I’ve used Isoflex liquid rubber to paint a parapet. When first applied a year and a half ago it had a nice shiny finish. Now, the whole painted area has turned dull and matt. How to remedy ceiling paint peeling

Hi there, the paint on the kitchen ceiling is peeling off in some areas. What would be the best way to deal with this? I was thinking of scraping back the loose bits and priming with something like Zinsser BIN before filling the bumpy areas and then applying a topcoat. I just want to make sure...

What are these brackets in the ends of walls for?

You see them all over the place. Are they the ends of reinforcing bars or something like that?

22mm pipe from cold tank to CH circuit?

I'm planning to add Sentinel X800 (cleaner) to the system when I fill it up and flush through a couple of times after a week or so. Then fill up again with X100 (inhibitor) and leave it in. I was thinking 1l but you say I might need more...? Does this sound like a good plan?

22mm pipe from cold tank to CH circuit?

I'm replacing the ¾" steel pipe that currently runs from my small cold water tank to my central heating circuit because it's blocked with sludge from top to bottom and won't let any water pass. Should I replace with 22mm copper pipe?

What kind of tool do I need to remove this?

Sorted now, thanks. Thin piece of metal stuck in a small vice and used like a screwdriver did the trick.

Question in the title. I want to remove this bleed valve from the radiator in the first picture. It appears I need some kind of long slotted tool. Any ideas? Diameter 1/2"
