    yep you are right but all the usual suspects that go wrong have been checked so hopefully someone will have a use for it :D should be an easy fix for a reistered Corgi Engineer as someone has allready suggested :roll:

    its done now, brand new HE fitted got it trade through a palso only £399 plus vat, old boiler going on ebay tonight, will do for spares for someone, after all all the components in it are 100% checked and working so shoud have a value to someone :!: :!: :shock:

    nothing has been working perfect for around 6 years on lpg. anyway Ive swapped the white lead onto pals boiler and no different and vice versa ,and for future reference his boiler runs fine with the flame sensing lead disconnected .. many thanks for those that have contributed to...

    at the risk of being shouted at again :P the techie guy at Baxi reckons it should have run with the white lead disconected :? :? local place doesnt have a lead in stock :evil: is there a voltage check that can be done on the lead :?:

    yep this is why the plan is to run it along side the combi? once the combi has the rads up to temp and the gas burner cuts out he is thinking the electric boiler should keep the water at that temp as it wont need a lot of power to maintain temps. would this work in theory given that the...

    voltage at gas valve is around 19v which according to the techie dept is correct. im pretty sure any flow problems brings on a warning light , this displays nothing.

    polarity is fine and as fan is opeating this rules out air pressure switches , they have been checked and ruled all the same.

    can you elaborate on that please ? tried adjusting the larger nut (hi flame? ) and no different ? fault is exactly the same with both valves fitted.

    it goes through the motions and a low flame passes across the burner as soon as it reaches the right hand side it goes off and a click in the valve is heard at the same time, it then does the same again.. I only changed the flame sensing probe and left the other as it looks to me like the...

    checked polarity with mulimeter and this is fine, just been back onto baxi and they say as a last resort try spark generator , will give it a try but not hopefull :(

    been directed to see if anyone has come across this fault before. I have a baxi 105e, on both water and heating it goes through all the motions as it should ie fan kicks in, ignites then lights the burner up briefly but then goes out within 1 second, repeats this and no warning lights come...
