I finally got the machine fixed. A CDA engineer came out to look at it and found that there was power coming from within the machine, but it wasn't sending a signal to the PCB. So they had to order a brand new one and get that installed. I am none the wiser as to what caused the problem, but...

The machine is two years old, only went out of labour warranty two flipping months ago, but there is 5 years parts still available.

Sorry, I meant that I plugged in the dishwasher in to check the socket was okay. I also put in a socket tester and that told me that socket was okay. So I don't know that power is getting to the WM main CB.

Thanks again. I have just tried that and the green light isn't showing, or any other colour. There wasn't any status light when it first stopped working and I tried all the standard troubleshooting.

Hello, not a year after I got a new Hive receiver installed, it has stopped working again. British Gas aren't open until Wednesday. Does anyone know how to override the Hive and use the boiler to get the heating on again please? I have an Alpha ETEC 33.

That's a good shout actually. Do you think the engineer who first installed the Hive receiver would have needed to 'disable' the Salus? I would have thought the Hive wouldn't have operated from the outset if they hadn't.

I'm not sure. But that Salus thing was crap, that's why I got the Hive.
