Head gasket ... oil in water

Thanks for your replies, on the face of it you would think that Anything that goes in to fix the headgasket like that is only a temp fix but if you look at the wesite they guarentee the repair for the life of the engine and say it is not a quick fix as it uses ceramic and copper etc etc. I...

    Another problem, dashboard "speedo" light/s

Replaced the bulb on the second attempt and it worked fine ..... for about 5 days and out it went again, traced the problem to the "dimmer" switch for the dashboard so perhaps the bulb was alright in the first place :x

    Another problem, dashboard "speedo" light/s

    Tomatoes

My tomatoes are still out in the garden and some of them are still very green, they have not had a lot of sun over the last few weeks. I live on the south coast and frost does not always start until later on in the year so ... what do I do with them? Do I bring them in on the plant and hang...

    Spark plugs and starting problems.

How many miles is it usual to go before changing spark plugs these days? The reason I ask is that I am having an awful job starting my car when it is a damp night or foggy and wondered if it is spark plug related or maybe the leads? When it does eventually start it only seems to be firing...

    Cracks in "roughcaste"

I have decorated the outside of my house several times and have always filled up the cracks with tetrion or polyfilla type fillings which I did on the last occasion BUT after a few weeks the cracks have reappeared and look worse than before I painted, now admitted the weather has been a bit...

    Red cars

Now I am not sure if this comes under car maintainance or general cars but my wife has a red car and I did say to her that the paint I have seen on some red cars seems to go dull and "white" looking anyway, she went ahead and bought a red Toyota starlet and the red paint seemed fine but now...
